Evelyn Ofosu – Frimpong
Head, Legal HR & Corporate Affairs
She acts as Company Secretary of ABii National Savings and Loans Limited and heads the Legal, Human Resource and Corporate Affairs Departments.
Evelyn is a Barrister at Law and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. An experienced practicing lawyer who has extensive knowledge on legal procedures, commercial litigation and corporate matters as well as a wide range of associated legal issues.
Have consulted for multi–national companies such Metso Ghana Limited, Hexagon Group of Companies, Volta Ghana Investments, Trade Works Company Limited and others. She worked at the Strategic and operational level at Tobinco Group of Companies as Head of Legal Department.
She is the Board Member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)-CSIR (Ghana). Also, serves on the Board of Miracle Chapel International. Evelyn in 2006-2007 was part of a Team for institutional and electronic restructure of the Attorney General’s Department of the Ministry of Justice- Ghana.
She has undertaken courses that include Certificate in Human Resource a Strategic Partner with the Chartered Institute of Human Recource Management, Ghana; Security Certificate in Responsibility to Protect (R2P);Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Center; Certificate in Mining Law and Policy for Sustainable Development(University of Ghana); Certificate in Advance Broadcast in Journalism( School of Journalism);Phonetics & Presentation Skills (Ghana Broadcasting Corporation; HIV/ AIDS Counseling and Care- Giving (University of Ghana) ;Maritime Security and Transnational Organised Crimes (Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Center).
She has participated in Seminars and Workshops namely Corporate Governance: The New Companies Act and Company Secretary; Ghana Legal Education – Introduction of Witness Statement in Ghana; Records Management and Archival Administration.
She has additional qualifications in the following Project management training, Skills in Microsoft Office (IT) Concepts and Information and Communication.
She is a graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon (BA) Political Science and Philosophy -2006 : Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (LL.B)-2011 and Ghana School of Law (BL) – 2013.
