Mr. Tobbin is an extremely motivated and hardworking professional with expertise and proven track record in start-up business

and company growth. He has an ‘O’level certificate from Tarkwa Secondary School and is currently the Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies. With his exceptional skills in competitive positioning of business models, he is responsible for developing new businesses, creating winning business plans and formulating business policies and ideas.

He was the Managing Director of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited from April 1998 to October 2008. Over there, he was responsible for the day-to-day running of the business with particular emphasis on business development. This awarded him the Best Entrepreneur (Pharmaceutical Industry) by the Entrepreneurs Foundation in conjunction with the Ghana Chamber of Commerce on 21st April, 2012.

He was adjudged Marketing Man of the year 2010 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing-Ghana. On 10th November 2012 he was conferred Nkosuohene of the Awudua traditional council with the stool name Nana Kwaku Gyebi I. He also has a noble’s award by the West African College of Nobles in Ghana.

He has built a formidable pharmaceutical company with a workforce of over 400 from a small chemical shop within a record time of fourteen years. He led the Executive Management team to strategically grow and expand the Pharmaceuticals Business in the country with office presence in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale and Ho. He has been selected for an Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He has not experienced any industrial unrest whatsoever in the establishment since inception.
